The game is set in a futuristic city where a war is raging between two rival groups, the Peacekeepers and the Traitors. The latter has the support of the former's former allies, the Atavists.
The game begins with the Atavist Traitors destroying a Peacekeeper base. This is followed by a fierce battle between the two sides. The Atavists win and begin to recruit new members.
The player will be given the opportunity to choose from a variety of different vehicles to use in their quest to complete the missions. These can be either friendly or hostile.
There are various types of missions to complete throughout the game.
